Week 0 (Zero)

Since 2014 has not quite begun, I'm calling this Week Zero.  My 2014 starting weight is 241.  Some of this, I'm sure, is holiday water weight.  We'll see how things look next Monday.  Two more “holiday” meals this week, then back to eating better; rescheduled Sunday School Christmas Party tonight and Anniversary dinner Wednesday night.

2014 - Another new beginning

As 2014 begins, I will make another attempt to keep my weight under control.  In 2013, I lost a small amount of weight but gained lots of muscle thanks to my personal trainer Tim Taggert.  In 2014, I want to achieve my goal weight of 200 pounds while maintaining the muscle mass I've gained in 2013.  This blog will be my public profession of that goal -- good or bad.
