2022 - Let’s do it this time

It’s hard to believe it’s 2022 already.  As you probably already know, I’ve always struggled with my weight.  Growing up, I always wore “husky” pants and oversized shirts.  Fast forward, I let my weight creep up to 287 pounds and triple XL shirts.  Five or six years ago, I lost 72.8 pounds on one of the national programs.  Unfortunately, I’ve let myself gain about half of that back. 

This year, I’m determined to lose at least half of the gain.  My goal is 26 pounds!  I plan to accomplish this by cleaner eating and increased exercise; I’ll probably add some gym time, at some point.

Welcome to September.  Where did the summer go!  It's been too long since my last update so let me fill you in.  I've been released from physical therapy following my shoulder surgery and I'm slowly getting back to weight training.  I'm also still chipping away at my weight.

2017 - Month 3

Welcome to March, everyone!  Here in North Texas, March certinally blew in like a Lion!  Having a better time getting back on track this month.  Probably looking at May before I can get back in the gym full time.  Back to the Doctor tomorrow for a final evaluation of my shoulder.  Probably looking at 4-6 weeks additional physical therapy.  I hope to get released for some light cardio and legs.
